What is my blogroll?

My blogroll consists of tweets, other blogs, and even a YouTube video of immigration. Most of my blogroll supports my thought of America becoming unwelcoming. Here is more detail about each of the tabs in my blog roll.

AFS : Knowing what is changing in society is very important, especially on the topic of immigration. This blog post really goes into depth on what the Trump Administration is adding on the table.

Immigration on Twitter : I found this video on Twitter of President Trump being very insensitive, in my opinion, about the topic of immigration. It is certainly interesting hearing our President of the United States making my case of America being unwelcoming much stronger.

Instagram : Who thought that Instagram could be political? Well, this Instagram post shows a tweet about the Harvard student’s visa being cancelled and being deported fr his friend’s having political opinions.

News on Twitter : Twitter shows an article about how President Trump appointed someone to a top immigration position that violated federal law and now its argued that everything the Trump’s office is now legally invalid. I think this is relevant because it shows what is happening with in the White House.

News on Twitter about Immigration: More news on Twitter arises about people leaving the Trump Administration because President Trump signed an executive order to end the family separation policy. This is also a way that I can go more broad into immigration by not just sticking to the stories of the immigrants themselves, but what is happening in the office.

The Hill: I included this in my blog roll because it talks about something that hits you differently than any other story you’ll hear. A young, seven year-old girl, named Isabel, was welcome into the states for medical attention that isn’t available in Guatemala. The USCIS changed their policies and threatened that Isabel and her family would be deported if they didn’t leave in a certain amount of days, practically giving Isabel a “death sentence.”

Think Immigration: I am actually convinced that Trump’s Administration is trying to make themselves look bad and make things harder on everyone. This is another way for me to show my readers what is happening in the offices rather than what is happening to the people. I think its important to know what is happening behind closed doors.

Trump Vs. Immigration: I wanted this in my blogroll because it shows that there are people that are standing up to President Trump’s insane state of mind on immigration.

What’s Happening Now: Universities have also become very understanding of how hard it is on International Students coming to there schools. The article is very interesting because it does introduce another point of view from mine: which is what I also want to try to do. I want to be able to explain both sides while having my own opinion.

Youtube: Back in May, Trump stood behind the podium explaining a new immigration plan. Rather than reading about it, what better is it than to hear about it from the man himself?
